Exciting stallion prospect Russian Revolution closed this week’s 2021 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale as the leading first season sire by aggregate. The Newgate Farm resident continues to carry forward strong results first enjoyed through last year’s weanling sales and which have been a staple of yearling sales through the first few months of 2021.

“Russian Revolution continues to be a sire in demand. The market respects his credentials and we expect this to continue ahead of next month’s Easter Yearling Sale,” said Michael Smith, China Horse Club’s Australasian representative.

“The quality of some of his stock has been exceptional. The best Russian Revolutions look very much like the best Snitzels (his own sire) and we look forward to seeing some of his most commercial stock at the Inglis sales ground in a few weeks’ time.

Positive results throughout 2021 position Russian Revolution for a very meaningful 2021 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, the leading yearling sale in Australia. The former China Horse Club colour bearer has 16 yearlings listed for the internationally significant event, two of which are being sold on behalf of China Horse Club itself. In 2020 the Club sold the sale-topping Snitzel x First Seal colt to Coolmore and the above-mentioned Russian Revolutions fit in well alongside another exception draft.

The Russian Revolution x Rhema colt (Lot 41) is from one of Australia’s most explosive families and a half-brother to G2 Sweet Embrace Stakes winner Always Allison and the G2 Silver Slipper placed Kyria.

The Russian Revolution x Yattarna filly (Lot169) is the second foal out of a G3 winning mare. A half-sister to this Russian Revolution filly realized AUD400,000 12 months ago and is training with Hall of Fame trainer Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.
