Llanddwyn is the latest notable filly raced in partnership between Go Bloodstock & CHC
Better assignments await Llanddwyn after her comfortable win in the AUD60,000 Precise Air Handicap (1250m) at Canterbury Park (Australia) on Friday evening.
The China Horse Club homebred, part-owned with Sir Owen Glenn’s Go Bloodstock, was fronting the starter for only the fourth time and the second this preparation. Trainer Chris Waller has been patient with the athletic filly who is striking form ahead of Sydney’s premier racing carnival.
“Llanddwyn is a lovely filly who we have always held in high regard,” said Mike Smith, China Horse Club’s Australian representative.
“She spelled well ahead of this preparation, was encouraging at her first run back and then looked progressive leading from start to finish here. She may well appreciate getting over a touch further as well and there is no one better than Chris to decide on that.”
Llanddwyn was sold by China Horse Club through the 2022 Magic Million Gold Coast Yearling Sale in the same draft as subsequent G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes winner Ozzmosis.
Caricature has a gorgeous Zoustar filly on the ground at The Chase and was covered last spring by Russian Revolution.
Go Bloodstock and China Horse Club have raced fillies in partnership previously with the two high profile operations most notably enjoying considerable success with multiple G2 winner and millionaire Dame Giselle.
Dame Giselle has foaled down Exceed and Excel and Snitzel fillies in successive seasons and was covered last season by Extreme Choice.
