Into Amore was retained by CHC after failing to make her reserve and won stylishly on debut
Patience was rewarded when the regally bred Into Amore made an auspicious debut in a seven furlong maiden at Tampa Bay (USA) overnight.
On the line the Todd Pletcher trainee had four-and-a-quarter lengths to spare over her rivals having pulled clear in dominant fashion over the concluding stages to win as she liked.
“Embellish The Lace is one of our highest profile mares in the U.S. She throws beautiful stock and we wanted to retain one of her daughters to carry on her line,” said Christie DeBernardis, CHC’s Representative for the Americas.
“Fate dictated that we retained this filly when she didn’t make her reserve and we have given her the time to find her feet and deliver on the talent she has always hinted at. Her display at Tampa Bay showcased her credentials very well. Hopefully there is more in store for her in 2025.”
Into Amore is bred in the purple being no less than a daughter of 2015 G1 Alabama Stakes winner, Embellish The Lace, and multiple champion sire, Into Mischief.
Embellish The Lace was one of three G1 winners in the maiden crop of Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver and raced by Alex and JoAnn Lieblong. In September they returned to the family when purchasing a Quality Road half-sister to Into Amore that China Horse Club had consigned through Taylor Made Sales Agency for USD500,000.
Embellish The Lace is in foal to the exceptional Life Is Good whose first foals were in high demand in November.
