Stakes company looks certain to await Love Rush after the impeccably bred filly lit up Longchamp with a slick turn of gears at only her second career start.
The Nicolas Clement trainee became the fourth talented young performer unearthed in the last three days to salute in the China Horse Club’s silks. Collectively, the quartet of Love Rush (France), I Found You (Australia), Braveheart (Australia) and Leicester Square (Britain) are capable of helping shoulder stakes aspirations for the Club and its partners over the next year.

For China Horse Club, the importance of their homebred Love Rush cannot be understated. She is the only progeny of the gifted and impeccably bred Goldrush who won three of her four career starts, twice at stakes level, before retiring to stud.
Goldrush, who passed before her time, was the result of a mating between world champion Frankel and the globe-trotting Alexander Goldrun who won five G1s across four different countries. Significantly, Goldrush was one of only two fillies produced by Alexander Goldrun.
“Love Rush broke her maiden at Longchamp in such fantastic style. Nicolas Clement is excited and we are as well,” said Matt Houldsworth, China Horse Club’s European Representative.
“This is a filly who we hope can become a cornerstone of our breeding programme in years to come. But before then, stakes company awaits her based on the manner of this win.”
Love Rush is a daughter of champion sire Siyouni who continues to play a focal point in China Horse Club’s European breeding programme. In 2023, the Club’s Siyouni x Hourglass colt became the highest priced yearling ever sold by the sire when secured at the Arqana August Sale by M.V. Magnier for €2.2 million.
