A trio of yearling purchases over the weekend has moved the dial for the 2025 racing operations of the partnership of China Horse Club, WinStar Farm and Siena Farm to an even 10 with the addition of colts by esteemed sires Not This Time and Nyquist and the most in demand yearling by first season sire and former champion racehorse Knicks Go.
Eight yearlings have now been sourced from the 2024 Keeneland September Yearling Sale to join the two secured last month at the 2024 Saratoga Yearling Sale.
“The hard work done pre-sale and during the sale at Keeneland is bearing fruit, we’re securing some lovely stock to race in 2025 and beyond,” said Christie DeBernardis, China Horse Club’s Americas representative.

“We’ve focused on fast two-turn prospects by proven sires, an exception is the Go Knicks x Siempre Mi Amor colt secured over the weekend who was a standout type.”
Knicks Go, ranked the Longines’ World’s Best Racehorse and the U.S. Eclipse Horse of the Year in 2021, winning 10 of his 25 career starts most typically with electrifying speed, including the G1 Breeders’ Cup Classic.
Joining the Knicks Go colt was a Not This Time x Moon Medal colt and a third yearling by the scorching Nyquist, this one out of the young mare, So Honest, a winning half-sister to G3 winner and G1 Spinster Stakes placegetter Genre and the stakes placed mare Parc Monceau.
