Three smashing thoroughbred yearling colts have been secured in celebration of the first day of the Chinese National Day. China Horse Club members singled Ireland’s Goffs Orby Sale out as an opportunity to promote national sentiment with the opening day of the sale falling on the first day of ‘Golden Week’.
The wonderfully athletic yearlings that will join the China Horse Club’s team are:
× Sea The Stars x Evensong colt
× Rip Van Winkle x Cawett colt
× Dream Ahead x Tiger Spice colt
These thoroughbreds will now be sent to a farm where they will grow and be educated to become racehorses. It is expected they will join the CHC’s racing teams in Europe in 2015 and play a role in the breeding industry in China in the future.
