Ahead of the close of America’s iconic 2022 Keeneland September Yearling Sale, the China Horse Club’s USA breeding division is on track to register record results across all key indicators for its yearling selling season.
The American breeding division, still regarded as transitioning from its infancy, is having a September Yearling Sale for the ages with unprecedented results on gross, average and clearance rate as well as recording five sales of above USD500,000 headlined by the results of its Constitution x Last Full Measure colt (USD1,800,000 – 2nd highest price of total sale) and Constitution x Cozze Up Lady colt (USD1,300,000).

The world class results of the last week have ensured the 2022 season is a high watermark for an entity best known in the U.S. for its racing operations thanks to the achievements of Justify (undefeated U.S. Triple Crown winner), Abel Tasman (5 G1 winner), Improbable (3 G1 winner), Yoshida (2 G1s), Audible (G1) and current stars Life Is Good (3 G1s) and Americanrevolution (G1).
“The results of 2022 have been years in the making. To see it all come together like it has is very rewarding for everyone involved at the China Horse Club worldwide,” said Mike Smith, China Horse Club’s USA Representative.
