The China Horse Club’s burgeoning reputation as a breeder of elite racehorses in Australia ensures the dispersal of nine well credentialled mares is noteworthy.
“We are fortunate to have depth in certain bloodlines and families and that allows us to take commercial propositions to market,” said Michael Smith, China Horse Club’s Australasia Representative.
“In 2022 we are consigning with The Chase to auction nine mares that are from commercial families and who are in foal to some of the country’s hottest stallions in Extreme Choice, Zoustar, Russian Revolution, Pierro and Microphone.
“The China Horse Club is a commercial buyer and a commercial seller. This year’s offering is an extension of that.”
This is the first of a three-part review of nine broodmares the China Horse Club is selling at the upcoming 2022 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. In Part One we review three mares that are in foal to champion first season sire elect Russian Revolution whose yearlings have sold up to AUD850,000 this year and whose first crop include two group winners and two stakes placegetters among 10 winners from only 30 runners.
