Founder and Chairman of China Horse Club (CHC), Mr Teo Ah Khing will be a special guest of Perak Turf Club this weekend which features the inaugural running of the CHC Friendship Trophy on Sunday.
The China Horse Club has become one of the leading ownership groups in world racing since it commenced its racing activities in 2013. Its members have won almost 350 races across 8 different countries and the club has been independently ranked among the top 10 owners in world racing.

Each of the races staged this weekend will be named after CHC owned horses.
The China Horse Club host and organise the only internationally endorsed thoroughbred Racing Carnival in mainland China, the China Equine Cultural Festival (CECF).
In recent years PRTC has built a strong rapport with the China Horse Club and provided important expertise during the annual CECF events. This expertise has included the provision of experienced racing officials to assist in the running of these high profile days. The CECF has been run in various centres across China as well as in Singapore. In the last two years it has been held at the Yiqi Racecourse in Ordos, Inner Mongolia.
Mr Teo will be presenting the prizes to the wining connections following the running of the China Horse Club Friendship Trophy which is Race 3 on Sunday.
Ironically a CHC owned horse, A LA VICTORY will be competing in Race 4. Trained by Frank Maynard, the 6yo will be having its 3rd start in Malaysia.
