Revolutionary Miss will have her day. The desperately honest filly was ever so brave under testing conditions against some of the best of her generation when circling the field and storm home for second in the AUD1,000,000 G1 Caulfield Guineas in Melbourne, Australia.

It was the second time Triple Crown’s heroine has finished second at the highest level in a 10-start career. Her prize money of almost AUD900,000 dwarfing her AUD195,000 purchase price.

Revolutionary Miss is the fourth Russian Revolution to place in a stakes race in the last 12 days.

Significantly she is the third to do so carrying the ‘CHC’ brand.

Revolutionary Miss is the fourth Russian Revolution to place in a stakes race in the last 12 days. Significantly, she is the third to do so carrying the ‘CHC’ brand alongside fellow China Horse Club breds Perfect Proposal and Communist. The trio, plus the talented colt Physical Graffiti, have helped propel Russian Revolution to an unmissable start to the new racing season. Having dominated his peers and claimed the first season sire’s title by prize money and winners, Russian Revolution has immediately reinstated himself at the top of the pile among Australia’s Second Season Sires.

The Revolution:

-        Revolutionary Miss         2nd AUD1,000,000 G1 1000 Guineas

-        Perfect Proposal              2nd AUD200,000 G3 Gimcrack Stakes

-        Communist                        2nd 250,000 Listed Dulcify Stakes

-        Physical Graffiti                3rd AUD200,000 Breeders’ Plate

“We are immensely proud of the performances of the graduates from China Horse Club’s breeding programme here in Australia,” said Mike Smith, China Horse Club’s Australian Representative.

“The Russian Revolutions have only been on racetracks for the last 12 months and Revolutionary Miss has been one for the flagbearers for her sire throughout that time. What is highly exciting is that this season we have quickly seen that she has more and more company and hopefully that will continue over the spring with more Russians contesting elite events and, hopefully, winning them as well.”

China Horse Club’s belief in its former colour bearer Russian Revolution has been unwavering with extensive support in terms of both quality and quantity of mares in each of the seasons he has stood at stud to date.

This decision to so strongly back a sire who was unproven at the time, has positioned the Club with an enviable talent pool of rising Russian Revolution yearlings heading into the 2023 yearling season.

“Revolutionary Miss is a China Horse Club bred that emerged through Magic Millions and we are very excited to have six Russian Revolutions listed among our 2023 Magic Millions draft being prepared and sold under the banner of The Chase,” Smith added.

“The Chase will offer 14 China Horse Club bred yearlings in all with Zoustars, Deep Fields and the first yearlings by both Cosmic Force and Strasbourg. But the trajectory Russian Revolution is on from such a limited sample size will certainly ensure that these six yearlings will be well patronized both at The Chase and then on the sales ground.”
