06BLANKETS FOR CHARITY
马被上的艺术

For more than 5,000 years Chinese horse culture has been
represented in paintings, sculptures, drawing and etching, a
symbolic union of two of China’s cultural cornerstones. China
Horse Club is reinvigorating this union between Chinese art
and Chinese horse culture with the creation of unique Blanket
Artworks. Leading Chinese artists – Peng Wei, Li Xiao Ling,
Xu Lei, and Yue Min Jun have provided iconic works that have
raised monies for charities and youth training programs. Their
masterpieces are incorporated onto horse blankets, which are
both auctioned and also used to crown champion racehorses.

五千年的驭马文化通过艺术的方式再次活灵重现。CHC杰士马
主俱乐部首开先河，创意地把马被与现代艺术结合，与中国当代
最具代表性的艺术家彭薇、李晓玲、徐累及岳敏君，一起开创出
“马被上的艺术”公益项目。画家们的画作创意地被复制于马被
上，尔后，这些被披在冠军马匹身上的马被被进行慈善拍卖，以
资助及栽培中国大陆年轻一代的骑师。

WUHAN AND CHENGDU 2014

扬威武汉和成都赛事

CHC horses dominated major Chinese racing carnivals in Wuhan
and Chengdu, winning six of seven races contested over both
meetings. At the high profile CEA Champions Tour in Wuhan
in October 2014, CHC China's Head Trainer Quinton Cassidy
successfully orchestrated a striking performance with his trio of
triumphs: Alcott, Endzone and Vinson Massif. Alcott dominated
the 3000m Champions Race with a winning margin of almost 20
lengths. Endzone was ruthless over 2000m while Vinson Massif
exploded away to win at the 1000m sprint division. At the CEA
National Tour Final in Chengdu the following month, CHC's
racing team dominated the meet again. CHC jockey Chen Li was
crowned champion jockey and CHC runners North Dakota, La
Casino and Beat of the Drum claimed victories.

在武汉和成都的速度赛马盛事中，CHC杰士马主俱乐部的健马表
现标青，在七场的比赛中横扫六场赛事冠军。2014年十月，在中
国速度赛马巡回赛武汉站赛事中，CHC杰士马主俱乐部的总练马
师昆丁·卡西迪一手调教出三匹骏马勇夺冠军：“爱客”丶“圆满”及“高攀”。
“爱客”冠绝三千米赛事，以近20个马位的绝对优势胜出。“圆满”在两千米赛事中
摘冠，而“高攀”则在一千米赛事中脱颖而出。武汉赛事的一个月后，CHC杰士马主
俱乐部的团队在成都再创佳绩，骑师陈黎荣获“最佳骑师奖”，“北方大佬”丶“加
西诺”和“战鼓”皆勇夺冠军。
