One of the world’s greatest
educational institutions will
expand its footprint into
Saint Lucia and is expected
to be offering a tailored curriculum from
a campus that will be part of the Pearl of
the Caribbean development as early as next
year, 2020
École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), which
has set the standard in Swiss hospitality
education since 1893, announced its
intention at a signing ceremony on 20th
August 2019 at the Alpina Mountain Resort
and Spa where a selection of its students’
intern.
The Memorandum of Understanding is the
culmination of two years of discussions that
included a tour of the Passugg Campus of
Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality
(SSTH), a member of the EHL Group,
in May 2017 by the Honourable Allen
Chastanet, Prime Minister of Saint Lucia.

Top Worldwide

In 2019, EHL has once again been
singled out for its continued excellence.
It has been ranked No.1 worldwide by
QS University Rankings and CEO
Worldwide Magazine respectively for
Hospitality & Leisure Management and
Best Hospitality & Management Schools
in the World. Additionally, Le Berceau des
Sens, its training restaurant in Lausanne,
Switzerland, became the first educational
restaurant to be awarded a Michelin star.
