The Sandy Lane Barbados Gold Cup (1,800m,
BBD214,000) is a thoroughbred horse race run
annually on the first Saturday in March each year
since 1982. This race is open to horses age three or
older. The Barbados Triple Crown includes The
Banks Barbados Guineas (BBD30,000) in April;
The Pinnacle Feeds Midsummer Creole Classic 1
(BBD40,000) in July, and The United Insurance
Barbados Derby (BBD68,000) in August.
